Dr Kevin White and African Medical Missions

Dr Kevin White is founder of Surfside Pediatrics, in Ventura California. Surfside Pedaitrics exists to provide family centered pedaitric medical care. Dr White provides wellness centered, health promotion approach to medical care for the infants, children, and adolescents of Ventura, Oxnard, Camarillo and beyond.

Dr White is committed to the health of childen in Ventura county and also to the health of children in Africa. A significant amount of the proceeds of Surfside Pediatrics are directed to providing care for the children of sub-saharan Africa.

Dr White travels to Africa with Lighthouse Medical Missions. Dr White thanks Children's Variety International for there ongoing support and commitment to the care of children and families in Africa. Dr White also thanks his mentor Dr Robert Hamilton, without whom these trips would not be possible.

Our last meeting

Our last team meeting before departure. Me and my boys will be going ahead, as well as Henrietta, Dal, and pastor larry.
As fighting has reoccured in seirra leone there was much discussion on this.

Getting Ready

I am currently getting ready for the Lighthouse medical mission trip to Sierra Leonne. Dr Robert Hamilton will lead a team to Mikenny and I will be leading a team to Kenema. In total approxmately 40 people will be coming to Sierra Leone on this trip.

As always, I don't know ahead of time how much acces I will have to the internet. Keep checking back while I am gone, and I will try my best to keep you all updated!
